Antique hand-coloured engraving of "View on the Grounds of Maddox esq., near Dolgelly" dating from 1790. Anyone know where this bridge is/was? email: ian@dolgellau.com

"Maddox is almost certai to be the same Maddox who built the Cob at Porthmadog. Before embarking on this project he owned the Dolmelynllyn Estate in Ganllwyd so I would guess that this bridge would have been somewhere on that land, possibly on the river leading up from the village hall in Ganllwyd".
